Applications for Master Membership (MSA) are accepted once per year.
Most years the deadline is in October.
When applications are being accepted, approximately 2 months before the deadline, there will be a link to the application page available in the Join section. Notification will be posted on the ISSA Facebook page, and sent via email (to current ISSA members).
Master Membership (MSA) is open to current Active or Signature members showing advanced scratchboard skills, dedication to the promotion of scratchboard, and additional qualifications (see below). Members must have distinguished themselves and the quality of their work through four or more of the following methods:
– Museum, juried national and/or international exhibition history (or other equally recognized shows or competitions)
– National or international awards
– Solo exhibitions/shows
– Gallery representation
– Teaching workshops or giving demonstrations
– Publication in a recognized industry magazine/book
– Other activities that show a member’s dedication to promotion of the medium
